A few more photos

The four of us stopped at Multnomah Falls to see the view. Sue took this nice photo of me with the kids. The boys wanted to climb all the way up to a very high bridge just out of this photo, but the adults chickened out on the idea of such a hike with a 2 and 4 year old.
A few shots of Lonya and Sergey with their cousins, watching movies...
And a few more showing the boys on Easter Sunday, which was Sergey's 3rd birthday! He got roller skates for his birthday--and he is surprisingly good.
Lonya tries his new skateboard out--gift of the above cousins.

Spring Break

We had a nice trip to Sue's niece, Cari's house in Oregon over Spring Break. One thing the boys particularly liked was the trip to the Children's Museum in Portland. As you can see, Lonya is not particularly shy in front of a microphone. He sang for a partially full crowd of parents and onlookers. Sergey enjoyed running his cousin, Trish, all over--from the face painting to the water room.
The boys are very happy with the coming of Spring. They get to play outside a lot more. Mamas are very happy with that also. Sergey could spend hours throwing rocks in a creek, and Lonya has taken to picking up sticks and pretending they are swords. He usually finds a bent one as well, so he can be Captain Hook. Lonya appears to be learning lots in his new preschool. He does a little testing here and there, but also does more responsible things like clearing and rinsing out his dishes when he's done eating. Sergey is making great progress on potty-training. He is nearly at 100% now. Just in time for his 3rd birthday next Sunday. Fruit snack rewards proved to be the key incentive.
