First T-Ball Game

Lonya had his first T-Ball game this week. The weather has been rather cold, but the team, the Lugnuts, persevered. Lonya prefers hitting and running, as you can see from his smile as he runs toward home plate. Fielding the ball, at this point, is not a high priority for him...he was playing 2nd base at one point when he and the runner from first stopped and had a chat on the base line while the first base coach was shouting at the runner to keep going. He doesn't really have a sense for the game yet, though he knows the team gets a point when he gets to home plate.

Freak April Snowstorm

Who ever heard of a huge snowstorm on April 20? There was enough to completely cover the grass, to make snowballs and snowmen and to make us feel like moving to Florida. We had to dig out the boys' coats and boots so they could enjoy the anomaly. The dogs seemed to enjoy it too.
By evening it was nearly gone, as mysteriously as it arrived.

Spring Break at the Beach

For Spring Break we headed to the Oregon Coast to see Sea Lions and play in the sand. The boys got to spend time with their cousins.

Four Candles!

He stands poised between his toddler ways and his big boy future, and he waivers between being a formidable power ranger, and a little cuddler.
